1. Service Description

FaceSearch provides a specialized face recognition search engine that uses FaceCheck.id API to help users find matches of uploaded images from publicly available internet sources.

2. User Responsibilities

By using FaceSearch, you represent and warrant that you possess the necessary legal rights, permissions, or consent to use and search any image you upload to our platform.

3. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use FaceSearch for any of the following prohibited activities:

• Stalking, harassing, or threatening any individual.
• Illegal surveillance or unauthorized data collection.
• Infringing on others' privacy or publicity rights.
• Engaging in any activity that violates local, state, national, or international laws.
• Attempting to circumvent any service limitations or security measures.
• Making or informing decisions about employment, credit, housing, insurance, education, or any other purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar laws. FaceSearch is not a consumer reporting agency and its results are not consumer reports.
• Searching for, or attempting to identify, any person under 18 years of age.

4. Credits Policy

FaceSearch operates on a credit-based system. Each search requires 3 credits. Credits are non-refundable once purchased. If a search cannot be completed due to a technical failure, the relevant credits will be automatically refunded to your account. Please note that searches with 'no results found' are still considered completed searches and will consume credits.

5. Account Termination

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your account and access to our services without prior notice for reasons including, but not limited to, violations of these Terms of Service, behavior harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or any other reason.

6. Disclaimer

FaceSearch is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We make no express or implied warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of search results. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FaceSearch and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising directly or indirectly from the use of our services.

8. Age Requirement

FaceSearch is intended for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service. We do not knowingly allow use by minors, and accounts we identify as belonging to minors are terminated.

9. Removal Requests and Complaints

Search results link to pages published on the public internet. FaceSearch does not host that material and does not maintain its own database of identified people. If you believe a result concerns you and you want it excluded, or you wish to raise a privacy complaint, contact [email protected]. We respond within 30 days and, where a request is verified, exclude the material from future results and forward the request to our upstream provider. You may also delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.
